Overview
Gordon students have always been drawn to experiences that stretch their faith and deepen their understanding of the world. This spring break, you’ll take that journey to Iceland—partnering with the Salvation Army in Reykjavík and Keflavík to serve families facing displacement, poverty, and hardship with compassion and humility.
This trip invites you to go deeper—not just in what you do, but in who you are becoming. Through service, community, and daily spiritual reflection, you’ll experience what it means to live a life poured out in love.
What You’ll Do
✔️ Support clothing distribution, food programs, and refugee outreach
✔️ Serve families facing hardship with dignity and presence
✔️ Learn from local leaders about faith-based service in a global context
✔️ Join in daily debriefs, personal reflection, and spiritual practices as a team
✔️ Reflect on your calling and how your gifts can serve the Kingdom

This trip is open to Gordon students who want to serve with intention and grow in faith. Here’s how to get started:
Complete the Compass application (link below).
Interview with Compass staff.
Submit your deposit to reserve your spot.
Begin fundraising and get ready to meet the team. Before we leave, we’ll have some team meetings to connect and prepare. The dates for these required meetings are coming soon!
Spots are limited and will be filled on a rolling basis.
