FUNDRAISING AGREEMENT

Please read the agreement below and sign electronically at the bottom.

NOTE: By signing your name electronically on this form, you are agreeing that your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your manual signature.

We desire to make the Compass Program available and accessible to all students. To help with this, we allow students to fundraise to cover the expenses associated with their trip.

By signing this form, I agree that the fundraising goal the Compass Program has assigned me is $2,400 ($2,650 - $250 initial deposit).* I understand that fundraising to pay for my trip is not the only available option, and I do have the opportunity to pay this total outright. However, payment of my total is not considered a tax-deductible donation.

I recognize and agree that if I do not raise the full amount before February 8th, 2024, the Campus Ministries Office will cover the remaining cost and the Center for Global Engagement will manage my trip account balance and I will be responsible for paying the remaining balance to them by May 2nd, 2025.

I understand that it is my responsibility to monitor my page and track when I’ve reached my goal. If I raise more funds than necessary, I know that the excess funds will go toward general Compass funding needs for this trip and other organizational priorities. One of Compass's primary aims is to provide financial aid to underserved communities for our summer and year-round programs.

As per IRS regulations, all donations and gifts made to my Compass trip are tax-deductible and therefore non-refundable. Because of IRS regulations, there can be no exceptions to this policy. In the event of trip cancellation, Compass will do everything in its power to provide me with a spot on a future Compass trip, but donations to my trip cannot be refunded. I understand that if I am dismissed from the trip due to a violation of the Participant Agreement, there will also be no refunds of donations made to my trip. I agree that it is my responsibility to communicate this policy to those who support my participation in Compass.

By signing this form, I am committing to raising a total goal of $2,650.
*Unless otherwise stated in your financial aid award letter.

REFUND POLICY

Compass is classified by the IRS as a 501c3 non-profit organization. I understand that, because of this, all donations are tax-deductible and therefore non-refundable.
