SUMMER DISCIPLESHIP LEADERSHIP TEAM

Paula Suarez Salamanca
Compass Summer Discipleship Program Instructor

Paula was born in Colombia and raised in Greater Boston. A first-generation college graduate, she earned her BA in Mathematics, MEd in Education, and CAGS in Administrative Leadership. For the past five years, she’s worked as a 7th-grade math teacher, driven by a deep belief in the potential of every student to thrive, flourish, and live fully alive. Now, Paula is transitioning from the classroom to full-time photography—a path that lets her slow down, explore the world, and connect with others in meaningful ways. She loves how photography captures the beauty of a moment and the heart of a person’s story. When she’s not behind the lens, you can find her renovating her 1900s home, chasing mountain views, or planning her next adventure. She loves burritos, ice cream, DIY projects, deep community, and walking with Jesus through it all.

Kendall Billings
Compass Program Manager

Kendall grew up in Central California. After graduating from California Baptist University with a BA in Political Science and International Studies, she served two years as an AmeriCorps member with City Year, an education nonprofit organization. Her first year was dedicated to working directly with students in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and her second year brought her to New England. She planned to reside in Massachusetts for only a year but found the community and the environment so much to her liking that she decided to stay. As such, this is her third year on staff with Compass. As a committed follower of Christ, she loves Jesus and is excited to continue growing in her own faith while equipping others to do the same. She also loves reading, hiking, sweets of all kinds, her family, and connecting with others.

Adrienne Granados
Compass Social Media Coordinator

Born and raised in Los Angeles with my three sisters and a circus of pets and friends. I enjoyed an adventurous and storied childhood which eventually led me to journey on my own Compass trip in 2016. That formative experience deepened my faith, stretched my relationship with God and led me to attend Gordon College. Since graduating in 2021 with a BA in communications, I have explored a number of creative roles such as museum events coordinator, balloon artist, dining liaison and freelance content strategist. Currently the majority of my days are spent hanging out with my six young nieces and nephews. I teach them shapes and colors, they teach me humility and kindness, I’d call that a fair trade. I have little to no hand eye coordination and immaculate color coordination. I love hearing and telling stories and I believe God is the best storyteller out there. I am always stoked out to co-author each day with our perfect author.
