  1. PROGRAM ARRIVAL (when and where to be!): The Compass Program will begin and end at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (130 Essex St, South Hamilton, MA 01982) and we will meet specifically at the Graham apartments (this address will take you there directly: 4 A. J. Gordon Ct, South Hamilton, MA 01982). In years past, we have stayed at Gordon College just a few minutes down the road, (and we will still venture there for their ropes course and other activities) but this year all things have come together to put us at the seminary for our housing. As such, program registration begins at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary at 3:00 PM on July 9, 2025. Official programming starts at 4 PM. Please see the arrival/departure form to see more details about driving to the campus or flying into Boston and what time to be at the airport if this applies to you.

  2. PROGRAM PICKUP: The Compass Program ends at 12:00 PM on July 21, 2025. If you are traveling from Boston by plane and need a ride to the airport, please click the arrival/departure form below for more information. Pickup will be in the same location as drop off, at the Graham apartments at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Look at the PROGRAM ARRIVAL section for the specific address.

  3. TECHNOLOGY POLICY: Please remember that during the trip we will be taking a technology sabbath in order to focus completely on the program and people around us. Phones will be collected upon arrival and returned when the program finishes. This is laid out in the Participant Agreement. However, to meet the needs of our group, we will also provide phones back to anyone who would like to keep them during our time traveling back and forth to Iceland so you can keep your families updated. They will be passed out on the bus to the airport and collected upon our arrival at the Salvation Army building in Iceland. The same will happen on the way back to the US. 

  4. LUGGAGE ALLOTMENT: Each participant will have one personal item (a school-sized backpack or smaller is recommended) and one checked bag (50 lbs or less) for our flight to Iceland. There will be NO CARRY ON for any participants or leaders. Any overweight or oversize bags will incur a fee that must be paid for by the participant. For checked bags, the dimensions (height+length+depth) must be under 62 inches (158 cm).Please pack accordingly and check the packing list!

  7. PAPERWORK: The arrival/departure form is ready for completion! Please complete this by June 25th. Additionally, if you have any other outstanding paperwork, an email reminder has been sent to you with the specific items that are needed.
